The day was, well, perfect actually; an overcast, to be cloudy and sunless all day which meant Grace Wargrave would be able to go outside and wander around aimlessly and not worry about those around her seeing her sparkling within the sun's rays. A small smile perched on her lips, as the vampire girl made her way outside to her car and hopped into the driver seat. She put the key into the ignition, starting the car up and put the car into drive and sped her way through Forks, hitting the highway heading off towards Seattle. Grace knew Seattle would be a good place to head off towards, it was filled with more places to go than Forks and Port Angeles had to offer and of course, she did always keep praying that the sun wouldn't try to break through the dark gray clouds and expose herself. It was always a small fear of her own that she tried to hide from the others around her, whether human or not.
As the girl reached Seattle, she slowed her speed down to a humanly rate, going the speed limit, as much as she didn't really enjoy it all that much. A small sigh escaped her lips as she hated driving in a car that felt..slow. Deciding to just park it and wander through the uptown part of the town, that made the smile return to her lips. Grace found a parking spot near the sidewalk, placing the car in park and turning it off; the vampire stepped out of the car gracefully, hitting the button on the keys to lock it and headed over towards the meter. She dug into her pant pockets brought out a few quarters, dropping them into the slot and turned the knob; she had a two hours or so to go before she'd have to return and move her vehicle, that was good enough for her.
Grace walked away from the car, shoving the keys into her pant pocket and walked down along the sidewalk, glancing in towards the windows of the shops as she went by. Of course, she didn't have to bother with looking where she was walking; one thing of being a vampire, they were very graceful and rarely bumped, walked, or even ran into other people around them. It was one of the quality's that Grace actually enjoyed about being a vampire, she did well on her feet when she was a human, but nothing as graceful and careful as she was now. When the thought of her human life appeared in her mind, there was a bit of a blur of faces in her thoughts, it caused a slight frown to appear to her lips. One thing she learned about being a vampire was that you would eventually forget your human life, things would be a blur to her memory and eventually, it'd be complete nothingness.
The vampire girl hated that thought; she didn't want to forget how her family looked, who they were and what they did when she was human. Or how much they loved her and care for her deeply; biting slightly at her bottom lip, Grace had to push the thoughts away. She didn't need to dwell on all of that, today was a good day, at least, to her it is. Instead of thinking of her past, the girl decided to think of what she wanted to do or even what she needed from the many stores that occupied Seattle. Pondering a bit, the thought of maybe a new book was something she could do with and book stores were usually quiet and peaceful, which would make the day even better. Smiling more, Grace made her way towards the book store just a few blocks away from her.
When she reached the book store, Grace stood there for a moment looking it over; it seemed like an okay place to go into and it seemed like it was quiet on the inside. Reaching towards the door, she pushed it open and heard a bell ring above the door to signal whoever inside that she was entering into the store. Cringing a bit, the sound may have sounded loud to a human ear, but to her own, it was very loud; she was never really fond of the loudness of bells even when human and definitely now she wasn't at all. As the vampire girl walked inside, her eyes glanced around her for a moment and then made her way towards a random aisle and started to rummage a bit through the books.
