Alice drove at a slow pace for her torwards her house. She didn't know if Edward was there waiting to yell at her, and she wasn't eager to find out. Her radio blared music on some random station that she hadn't taken the time to look at. She just wanted something to take her mind off of the first day of school and the fight that was waiting for her next time she saw Edward. Alice could have used her power to see if Edward was at home, but as was previously stated, she was not eager to find out. Alice sighed as the turn that took her up her drive way came to soon. She turned slowly and started up the winding road that lead to the Cullen residence and was surrounded by dense forest, it was a very well hidden path.
Once Alice reached the front of the large house she let the car idle there for a moment, trying to decide weather she really wanted to go inside or not. Alice hated to fight with her brother, it always brought her bubbly mood down. She had kind of brought it on herself though. She just had to try and befriend the human girl that was giving Edward so much trouble. Alice didn't know why she wanted to be friends with this girl so bad, there was just something about her. Also, she thought that maybe if she got closer to Bella Swan, then maybe her visions about her would become more clear. Alice finally pulled the keys out of the ignition and stepped out of the car. Maybe Edward wasn't even home.
Alice went up the steps quickly and quietly. She opened the door and poked her head in looking around the room briefly. The grand piano was empty, with no one playing it, and she didn't see Edward in the main room anywhere. Alice moved herself quickly into the house and shut the door before straightening herself to her normal posture. Maybe Edward really wasn't home. She looked around again and then turned to start making her way towards the stairs.

Edward didn't go straight home from school that day, he actually went to the library first to try and figure things out, hoping that one of the books in there would give him at least some kind of clue as to what was happening. But nonethless, his studies had come to an end when the human girl Bella Swan entered into the building causing him to get distracted madly away from what he was doing and ended up speaking with her in a way that he felt was against his own will.
When the boy did leave the library, he was a bit glad for the fresh air of Forks around him, helping him to clear his mind a bit and get the scent of the human girl away from him. Edward knew he was going to have to leave or else things may get out of hand and the monster inside of him might just win this war against the sane part of him. And one thing was for sure, Edward did not want the monster to win, he didn't want to put his family in danger and he didn't want to put any humans in danger as well.
Sigh deeply, he got into his car and rushed home, he was going to leave tonight, he was going to go to Alaska and get away, then maybe he'd have better concentration on the matter at hand. Then a thought hit him, one from earlier today during school, Alice had study hall with Bella and had spoken with her, even invited her to go to Seattle with her to shop. This caused a low growl to form within his chest, as he pushed down harder on the gas pedal and rushed his way home.
As he wounded up the driveway, he saw that Alice was home, which was good, he wouldn't have to wait or tear through the town of Forks to find this vampire girl. Edward put the car into park and turned it off and go out, slamming the door a bit hard, but not causing damage to it to his knowledge. He flitted off into the house and saw Alice heading towards the stairs and rushed to her before she could make her way up them. Edward grabbed a hold of her arm, pulling her to turn around "Are you insane?!" he yelled at her a bit, his already darken golden eyes turning a bit darker.

Just as Alice was a step away from getting to the steps she heard a car door slam. It made her freeze in her place for a few moments before she realized she should be trying to escape to her and Jasper's room, Edward was home now and by the sound of his slaming he wasn't happy. Alice picked up her pace trying to get up the stairs before Edward could get in the house, but of course Edward was there before she could get away. Why did he have to be so fast? Alice thought hoplessly as her escape attempt was ruined by Edward grabbing her arm and spinning her around to face him. She cringed at the angry look on his face as he yelled at her.
A spark a anger when off in her. Why the hell should she be getting in trouble for trying to make a friend? It wasn't like she was going to bring the girl home and just blow there secret. Alice's expression changed to an angry one as she looked into Edward's dark golden eyes. "No! I was only trying to make a friend, maybe you should try it sometime!" She didn't know how long this argument was going to last, hopefully not to long...
Alice had wanted to try and stay calm so that maybe this fight wouldn't be so bad, but it was only natural for her to get mad at someone that was yelling at her. She jerked her arm out of Edward's iron grasp, if she had been human her arm would have been shattered when he grabbed it at first. Her face didn't quiet match Edward's anger. She wasn't the one whos sister was off making friends with someone who she wanted nothing more than to kill. Alice could understand his side of why he was angry with her, but she wanted him to understand her side too.

He had expected her to get angry back with him, but that wasn't going to stop him from yelling back to her. Edward saw this as a problem, a major problem. Any of them getting involved in any way with the humans was bad, they all knew how Jasper was when around humans and the way this girl smelled to Edward, it was a death sentence for this human just awaiting to happen.
Edward stared darkly towards Alice as she yanked her arm free from his hand "Trying to make a friend? You are insane, Alice! This is how our family get's hurt, this is how the innocent lives of humans get harmed." he hissed out towards her "How can you go about and invite her to go shopping with you or for you to even try and do things with her?" he questioned her with a slight dark tone to his voice "I know you and everyone else can smell her. Imagine it ten times worse hitting me, Alice!"
Just thinking of how she smelt, caused the venom to burn more in the back of his throat, he was sure his eyes were going darker, but right now, he didn't care. He was going to deal with Alice first, then deal with everything else later "You need to stay away from, Alice. We don't need a human in our lives. It'll only make things complicated and probably worse." he told her with a stern look.

She knew that trying to make a friend sounded crazy, but she wanted at least one friend at school, and Bella sat with her in Study Hall and she was a nice girl. She frowned when he said that what she was doing was how there family got hurt. He knew she would never do anything to hurt her family, she did know the risks she was taking to be this girls friend, but she was being careful about it.
Alice growled a low growl at Edward, "I know Edward, but just because I'm friends with the girl doesn't mean everyone else has to be!" She knew that it was hard for Edward, but she could refrain from talk or thinking about Bella when he was around, she wasn't going to make him suffer unnessacarily. She new what she was doing, and she knew her whole family would disapprove of it, but she wasn't going to lose control and kill the girl, she refused to let that happen.
Alice scowled at Edward. Bella wasn't part of thier lives, she was part of Alice's for the moment. Alice was friends with the girl and had plans to go bake with her the coming weekend. "Its not like I'm going to bring her around the house Edward, I'm not stupid. She doesn't have to be part of everyone one elses life...It will not ruin our lives if I have one human friend." Alice wasn't yelling at the moment, but her face held its stubborn angry look. Edward didn't scare her as he might have scared some people with his anger, she might be small but she could be scary when she was mad enough...

Edward wasn't real sure he could handle going and yelling more towards Alice, but he was frustrated by all of this and Alice just pretty much pushed him over the edge by going and speaking with her, even trying to go and be friends with after he told her not to do so. When he heard her low growl, it caused one to come from his chest as well "You may think that, but it's the opposite. It means our family has to keep an eye on you, even on her to make sure things do not go hectic and spin in the wrong direction." he told her.
The vampire had remembered earlier when he was at the library with the human, how she seemed to stare at him and seemed a bit more observate of him than most humans ever were. This caused his jaw to clench a bit and he even huffed out in more frustration towards Alice's words "You don't get it, Alice. She isn't like the other humans we've ever been around. She's different." he spoke through his clenced jaw. He let it loosen a bit as he took a few steps towards Alice staring her down "You are out of line with this. She's to observate for our own good." he told her, his darken eyes scanning his sister's face "What will you do when she discovers who and what we are? What will you do when the Volturi find out that we've allowed a human to know of what we are?" he asked her, hoping that maybe his words will scare her enough to stay away from the human.
Edward then took a few steps back away from her, but kept the hard glare on his face towards her "I'm warning you Alice, stay away from her. Or it'll be trouble that will come and find us all. You think you can keep it from happening, you think you can stop any harm or trouble from happening, but it won't." his voice was a bit calmer, but the hard edge was still there "Trust me, Alice. The girls number was up in the cafeteria today."

Alice sighed in a frustrated fashion. Why could he just understand that she wasn't going to let things take a turn for the worse? If anything they should be watching Bella closly to make sure that Edward didn't slip up. Just because he sayed away from her at school didn't mean that there weren't chances. Her sent was everywhere and she knew that he had biology with her. Alice knew how good Bella smelled to everyone but of everyone, Alice was one of the least likely to kill the girl. Sure she had slipped up a few times but they all had, it had always seem pretty easy for her to not kill humans though. All of these thoughts ran through her head but she spoke none of them, she didn't know if Edward was to mad to be listening to her head or not, but she would probably only make him more angry if he heard the thing about how likely it was that he would slip up. "I'm not going to kill the girl Edward....." She tried to sound a bit reassuring but the irritation dampened the reassurence a bit.
Alice stood her ground as Edward took a few steps closer to her. Her strong stubbor stance didn't falter one bit as he spoke to her through clenched teeth. She rolled her eyes when he asked what she was going to do when she figured out what they were. "Yes Edward, because everyones first thought goes to vampire." Her voice dripped with sarcasum. How would Bella even come to the idea that they were vampires? She was almost as pale as they were, that could just be a normal thing for people who supossedly had just moved from Alaska how would she know? Their eye color could be covered up by the colored contacts escuse. Their unnatural beauty, well some people were just blessed to have the looks of a god. They had lied before, what would be different about lieing to this girl? Absolutly nothing, Edward's words didn't scare her, and he should know by now, once she put her mind to something, there was almost no changing it...
Another low growl was amitted from her chest. "Don't tell me what to do Edward. If her number would have been up at lunch then we would already be half way around the world by now. Shes still there and alive. If you kept from killing her today, what makes you think you can't refrain from it again?" Alice knew her brother, he hated it when he felt out of control, he didn't like what he had become, they could all understand that....

"But what if you did?" he asked her "What if she cut herself or fell down and started bleeding or something? Look, I understand you have control over yourself, but her scent is stronger than any I've ever came across." Edward was starting to get to the point that he wasn't going to stop this argument until Alice agreed to stay away from the human girl, to not go off and do stuff with her.
Hearing her next words caused a growl to come from his chest "I'm telling you Alice, she isn't like the other humans, there is something more about her. And I don't know if you notice, but she's got the scent of dog on her as well." he hissed out. Though the wolf scent wasn't strong on her, or at least Edward didn't seem to think it was, he knew she was around them "She probably knows of the La Push legends, probably all of Forks kids know of it." Edward groaned a bit shaking his head some and sighed out "Trust me on this one, Alice."
Another growl came from his chest, but louder this time and more fierce "That's because I was thinking of you and the rest of our family!" he yelled towards her "If I didn't keept thinking of what Carlisle would think and what would happen to our family all of the innocent humans lives, she'd been dead, Alice. DEAD." Edward stayed standing where he was at, staring down at Alice with a deathly glare to his face "Who say's I can refrain myself from killing her? I almost did it again just a few moments ago." he admitted to her and he actually felt ashamed of himself when the words came out.
Edward finally stepped back away from Alice and sat down on the bottom of the stairs and placed his face into his hands and shook his head a bit. How could a human girl cause this much trouble to a family of vampires. A part of him wanted so badly to find out what was so different about this girl, what it was about her blood that seemed to draw him to her and how he had never in years ever felt the urge to just kill someone so much for their blood. And of course, the most frustrating one of all, was the fact that he couldn't read her mind. Edward knew this human girl is different from the others, and he wanted nothing more than to know all about her, but another part of him didn't want to get involved in with the humans.
He lifted his head up from his hands and stared ahead of him with a blank expression "I have to leave." he muttered out softly.

Alice sighed, he just thought of everything didn't he? Although, the thought of Bella cutting herself was possible. Since they were going to help bake for a bake sale, baking normally included cutting of some sort. Alice could always volenteer herself to do all the cutting, completely eliminate the chances that Bella would cut herself. If anything else happend that caused Bella to bleed Alice could always hold her breath, sure she would be uncomfortable, but a bit of discomfort was better than killing someone. All Alice wanted to do was get to know more about the girl. It wasn't like she would be spending every waking moment with her, the chances that Alice would be around if and when Bella cut herself were slim, Alice wasn't completely out of her mind, she at least wanted Bella as a friendly aquantice though.
Alice merely nodded her head when Edward asked if she had picked up on the sent of a mutt on Bella. She hadden't failed to notice it, and sure bella might have known some of the ledgends, thats just what they were, ledgends. To humans, the idea of vampires was seinctifically impossible, no one could live with out a beating heart pumping blood through their veins, it just wasn't possible in the mind of a human. She opened these thoughts up in her head, allowing Edward to hear them, she didn't feel like screaming anymore, Alice could tell this fight was going no where fast, and it wouldn't end until one of them gave in. Alice had trusted her brother on a lot of things, but this is one thing that she refused to trust him about, she wouldn't believe that she couldn't at least get to know the girl without killing her. She could do it, she knew she could.
Alice's eyes softened a bit after Edward said that he had almost lost control again. She could tell that he was ashamed or embarassed about his being so weak around this girl. Alice hated see her brother so confused and weak and out of control. She watched as he backed away from her and sat at the bottom of the steps, burying his face in his hands. Alice sighed again, most traces of anger gone from her voice now. She needed to give in right now, she could tell that Edward was stressed enough, she could try to convince him another day, when he was more stable. She took a few graceful steps down and sat next to her brother on the steps. Alice placed a light comforting hand on his shoulder. "Okay Edward, you win. After Saturday I won't talk to her anymore, I promise."
Alice's eyes widened a bit when he said that he had to leave. "What? Why? I know Bella's blood is much more appealing to you, but surely its not so bad that you actually have to leave us?"Why hadden't she seen this? Alice was beginning to think that her ability to see into the future was defective. Alice didn't want her brother to leave, she would miss him terribly, he was her brother and she loved him dearly, even if they did just have a fight....

Indeed Edward did hear the thoughts that went through Alice's mind, he figured she'd trust him on this one, believe him and take his side instead of the humans. This caused a frustrated huff to come from his mouth, as he rolled his eyes towards her. The vampire boy was really at a lost here with the human girl; he had no idea what it was about her, but a part of him wanted to keep himself and his family away from her, but another part of him wanted nothing more than to be close to her. Once more, a war was raging through Edward's mind, he really had no idea what he truly wanted right now.
He turned slightly to look at Alice and frowned a bit "That's not good enough, Alice. I don't want you even going to the bake sale at all Saturday." he gave a slight pleading look towards her "Please Alice, trust me. Believe me when I say it's for the best." the boy really wasn't one to go about pleading to people for things, but he was desperate to keep his sister safe, to keep his family safe and more so, to keep the human girl and the rest of the people of Forks safe as well.
Edward continued to stare ahead of him, he stood up and shook his head "Alice, I've come close to killing this girl twice already. In one day." he told her, then looked down at her, with a blank expression "I need to leave." he looked away from her once more and stared ahead of him again and thought it all through. He'd have to tell Carlisle and Esme, of course, he was sure that the two of them would understand it completely.

Alice could here the pleading sound in her brothers voice. She hated it when he was like this. It was very, very rare to hear him pleading like this and it killed her that she was going to deny his request for her not to go to help bake for the bake sale. Alice shook her head slightly. She couldn't back out of the bake sale at the last second, but she could make it a speedy thing. She didn't have to stay the whole time, she could tell Bella and Angela that she would have to leave about half way through the day. "I won't go the whole time, I'll just show up for a little and do some stuff and then leave......I'm not going to leave Bella and Angela short handed......" Alice watched as he stood up and then looked down at her with a blank expression and repeated that he needed to leave. She stood up slowly and looked up at her brother. "Are you going up to Alaska?" She asked him softly....

OOC: it's all good :] <3
Edward sighed, he wanted to argue more with Alice about this whole thing, but he couldn't anymore. Alice was one of the people that understood him well enough, and he hated when the two of them did have arguments, though they were rare, but when they happened, he hated himself for a good while "Fine." he said sternly and went back to his thought of leaving. He knew he'd go back to Alaska, but he'd have to make sure the Denali's would be okay with it. Edward looked back towards Alice when he heard her words and gave a nod "Yes. I'll try not to be gone long, though." he knew that Alice would see when he'd be coming back, and this thought caused a smile to spread across his mouth and he ruffled up the girls hair a bit "You'll know when I'll be coming back, so don't worry." he told her reassurringly.
OOC: xD i have no idea if reassurringly is even a word! and i feel i have to many letters there as well rawr

[ooc;; its a word now! =D]
Alice knew that he wasn't happy with the way things were going right now. He was losing control, they were fighting, Alice was stubborn, and now he was having to leave his family. Alice nodded when he said he'd try not to be gone long, she would know when he was on his way back though. She watched as a smile spread across his face. Alice swatted playfully at her brother;s hands as they ruffled her hair. "Eddieee!" She said in a joking whinning tone, "You messed up my hair!" She ducked way from his hands and took a step up away from him. She had a happy smile on her face, though she wasn't happy he was leaving, she was happy that they were done fighting about Bella. She liked that they could go from practically ripping each others throats out to being friendly happy siblings again.

Edward laughed out towards Alice and her little whining fit because he messed up her hair, he smirked a bit "Messed it up." he checked it out and grinned "I think I made it look better." he laughed a bit more "Looks like my hair now." he grabbed Alice and pulled her beside him and turned towards a mirror "Look, we're twins now!" he joked with her before he wrapped his other arm around her and gave his little pixie sister a hug. Edward was going to end up missing Alice a lot, he was just glad the two of them were done fighting, it was something he hated.
Edward pulled away from her and sighed a bit, still keeping a small smile to his lips "Alice, I'm going need you to do something for me." he started to speak to her in a bit of a serious voice now.

Alice stopped her whinning tone when she heard Edward say that he thought he made it look better. She looked at him questioningly, was she really supposed to believe that he had made her hair look better? Alice allowed her brother to pull her over to a mirror and made a look of fake horror when he said that now they looked like twins. "Ahhh!" She skweaked in her pixie-like voice. Alice's hands began to frantically smooth out her hair. Of course she was joking, she liked her brothers messy hair, it worked for him. Alice stopped trying to smooth out her hair and laughed with her brother as he hugged her, she wrapped her small arms around her brother's wasit and hugged him back. She really was going to miss Edward.
Alice pulled away from her brother with a bubbly happy smile back on her face. Now she looked in the mirror and combed her fingers through her hair to actually smooth it back to its orginal, spiky but neat state. She looked over at Edward when he said he need her to do something for him. She took in the small smile that had replaced the angry look on his face he had while they were fighting, but also heard the joking tone change to a bit more serious. Alice nodded, "Sure Edward, anything, what do you need?" She asked curiously wondering what he wanted.
