Clearing his throat, his hand fell from the back of his head, down to his side. "Um." Where she wanted to go? Of course, Charlie assumed it was colder for her, than it obviously felt to him. "Uh, we could go back to my house. Hang out in the garage or something. Or uh- we could go get a bite to eat."

Bella felt completely awkward now, and it bothered her. She knew she had feelings for them, she felt them every time she saw him, or so much as thought about them. She knew they were real, but she was afraid of what would happen to them if they were to ever break up. She snapped out of her thoughts though, when he started to make suggestions. Brown eyes falling onto him, she smiled a tiny bit. "Didn't you want to show me the bike you were working on or something?" She asked as she placed her hands in the pockets of her jacket.

His brow furrowed in slight confusion. "Bike?" Jacob echoed, before shaking his head. "I don't have a bike. I have the Rabbit, but that's it." Clearing his throat, he bent over to pick up the jacket and bag, the latter which he slung over his shoulder. "But uh, yeah. If you want to hang out while I work on the Rabbit, that'd be cool."

Bella's brows furrowed, maybe she had a dream that he had a bike or something. Shrugging it off, she smiled a little, "Uh, yeah sure, that sounds fine." Bella said, before she fixed her hood, placing it back over her head as she moved to follow him. "How's Billy doing, it's been a few days since I came over here." Bella said, having been busy studying for a major exam that had happened today, she just hoped she had passed.

"He's the usual. Though he's been spending more time over at the Clearwater's place." Jacob admitted, as he made his way up the sandbanks, towards the parking lot. The beach wasn't too far of a walk from his house, though it wasn't exactly close either. "At least the more time he spends there, the more fish fry he brings home for dinner." Looking over his shoulder at Bella, he offered a grin.

Bella stumbled slightly as she walked with Jacob through the sand, obviously not as graceful as he was. Or anyone, for the most part. She saw that they were getting closer to the parking lot, and that made her feel slightly relieved. Sand and her obviously didn't get along. At Jacob's comment about him bringing home more fish fry she smiled gently. "I think my dad was supposed to make a visit to Harry's later, he was running low on the fish fry." Bella said as she stepped onto the parking lot, glad they were that much closer to his house.

"Nothing quite beats Henry's fish fry." Jacob said in agreement. Though his memories of his mom were few, through stories he knew she had been a good cook, a trait that his sisters had somewhat received. With Billy, Jake knew he had never starved, but his dad was always more of a microwave man, than a real home cooker. That and with him being in the wheelchair, they tended to either eat what ever leftovers Mrs. Clearwater was nice enough to drop by, or they ordered out. Jacob liked a good pizza and take out, but wouldn't mind some real cooking every once in a while.
With his long legs, he easily moved ahead of Bella, though the movement wasn't on purpose. Hanging out with Embry and Quil, both who were roughly the same height Jake, give or take a couple inches, had gotten him used to people being able to keep up. Glancing behind his shoulder, he saw that Bella was a bit behind. Chuckling quietly to himself, he stopped and waited for her to catch up.

Bella smiled gently at Jacob's agreeing comment, she enjoyed hanging out with him. Even if he was a year younger than her, he brought out the fun in Bella. She's been told before that she's needed to loosen up, but that wasn't the case when she was around Jacob. She trusted him enough to be 100% herself around the guy she's known basically her whole life. He was like a brother to her. The thought brought a gentle smile to Bella's face briefly before she noticed that Jake had stopped.
It took her a moment before she realized why, she was walking way too slow. She thought she had heard him chuckle, and her cheeks went red. "Sorry my legs are not as long as yours." Bella said, noticing how tall he seemed to be getting. Then again, guys around his age shot up quite a few inches around this age.

"You wish you had my height." Jacob teased, as he looked down at her. He had been shooting up quite a bit. His bed was growing too small, along with doorways. In his own house he felt like a giant, due to its small size. Though he didn't mind the long legs and height, having to keep try and find jeans that were long enough, and hitting his head on a few things, were a pain in the ass. Jake was hoping the height would slow down, or at least stop soon.

Bella laughed softly before rolling her eyes. Glancing up at him briefly she just smiled before glancing back down at her feet. They were luckily getting closer towards his house, and since she was thirsty, she might just ask if she could get a water or soda. "I'll come in with you while you put your bag down." Bella said, assuming he'd like to see his dad as well, if he was home. She wouldn't mind saying hello to Billy. He had always been kind to her. Glancing around as they got closer towards his house, she wondered why it seemed so deserted today. Then again, it was rather cold outside. She was sure her face had gotten red from the wind blowing against it quite a bit on their way back to his house.
